THIS IS HOW I MEAL PLAN
I've mentioned this before but I don't typically "prep" my food for the week. I've found that I waste more food that way. So instead I focus on just PLANNING for the day ahead. Especially now - I’m trying to utilize everything in my pantry & not waste!

I always plan our dinners the weekend prior so I can use this as a starting point for my grocery list. Then, each day, I pre-log my food in My Fitness Pal for the NEXT day - this keeps me on track, saves time, money, & lessens the urge to splurge.⠀

Each night I take inventory of what the next day has in store. My days vary as some days I work from home and others I might be out and about all day. I also factor in if Mara will be with me as that can change the plan.⠀

Depending on the answers is how I pack for everyone the following day. If Mara is going to daycare, (which she clearly isn’t for a while…) I pack her lunch the night BEFORE so we're not rushing in the morning. If I am out & about for the day, I do the same for myself the night before.⠀
